The Sam Memorial  Golf Outing
Welcome to Sam’s Place!!

This website and outing was started in memory of our Sam. I
call him “Our” Sam because he has touched so many lives and
hearts in the short time he was here with us. Those who met
him were always amazed at his loud voice, loud laugh, the
questions he would ask, and most important the wonderful
smile he had which would just melt your heart.

When Sam was 4 he was diagnosed with Leukemia. Although
he had to spend a lot of time in the hospital Sam never stopped
being a kid! I think the doctors and nurses up on the 5th floor
HOT unit can still hear his laugh. We were fortunate to have
such a wonderful hospital and staff  at Children’s

Hospital of Wisconsin.

Sam loved a lot of things that boys love. To cheer on his
Packers and Brewers, wrestle with his older brother Jordan and
his Uncles and cousins. He loved to watch wrestling and even
went to meet a wrestler for his wish from Make a Wish. He had
a love of life and took joy  in the everyday things that

we take for granted.

We hope you can join us for this very special day. To get
together with old friends, meet new ones and have some fun
while raising money to help find a cure.
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an after flow of smiles when
life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly
down the ways,
of happy times and laughing times, and bright
and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry
before the sun of happy memories that I leave
when life is done.
Jordan, Sam, and Maggie
